There's time when I can't pretend
I can't figure out who's a foe or friend
Can't tell what's real or see what's fake
Thought I was safe till the stakes blend in
For what's dangerous is what's strange to us is the sane as us
I'll make sure that I stay focused

So so what we fighting for
Who are we fighting y'all

Who is it that we're fighting
Is there a lesson to gain
I believe it's in the writing
Declaring that our God is better
Feels like we've all been the odds forever
We put down the us vs them mentality
Knocked down the mental walls that causes sin
And I don't just see but agree
As men we've all been exposed to sin
For the simple fact that we've been through that
You can say that we in the same ship
In a see of sinful acts I ask
Who's to say that we can't flip
That we all go over board
So that you can know the Lord
He knew what was in store
For us to win the war he had to die
My saviour was crucified let world hear my battle cry
So so what we fighting for
On the front lines this is crunch time

I'm just a servant hardly nervous when they persecute me
He's love for us is unexplainable and so I pray for you
Mock me lie about me say your evil things

We celebrating victory I'm just inviting you
