I had a dream in my heart

To be a bird in the blue sky.

I like how everything feels so right.

I had a dream in my heart.

To spread my wings and fly up high.

I wanna feel the warm sun light.

However

I may have flew too early too fast.

I hurt myself by falling onto cold ground.

My father and I were worried ‘bout my future.

I feel so sorry to see my mom’s tear drop.

By the time I open my eyes.

I see their smiles in the golden rye.

I feel the wind across my shoulder.

Now I am the bird in the sky.
